Are you a highly motivated and proactive researcher seeking new opportunities? The Department of Chemistry at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) is inviting applications for 5-10 Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions in Professor Ren's dynamic research group.
About Professor Ren:
- Education: Professor Ren holds a doctoral degree from the Federal University of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland.
- Experience: He has conducted postdoctoral research at Oxford University and Princeton University.
- Current Role: Since September 2015, Professor Ren has been serving as an associate professor at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen).
- Research Output: The research group has published a total of 58 SCI articles in reputable journals such as JACS, Angewandte, Coordination Chemistry Reviews, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Letters, and more.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Applicants must hold a PhD/DPhil degree obtained within the recent three years.
- Age Limit: Below 35 years old for postdoctoral positions.
- Background: Fresh PhDs with a similar research background are preferred.
- Language Skills: Good written and spoken English.
- Skills: A good research record commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will:
- Manage your own academic research and administrative activities.
- Coordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
- Participate in group and departmental meetings.
- Produce high-quality figures and drafts for publication.
- Represent the research group at external meetings and seminars.
Welfares:
- Salary: Postdocs can expect a competitive salary ranging from ¥260,000 to ¥360,000 RMB per year.
- Living Costs: Estimated living costs in HIT (Shenzhen) are around ¥3,000 RMB per month (¥36,000 RMB per year).
